Bibione on the move: “A Piedi per Bibione” returns from 1st to 3rd May 2026

It is the most anticipated event of the spring, marking the awakening of the season and bringing enthusiasts to fill our streets, the pine forest, and the coastline. The 48th edition of “A Piedi per Bibione”, the traditional non-competitive walk organized by A.S.D. Gruppo Marciatori di Bibione, is ready to start. This year, the program expands into a three-day weekend dedicated to sport, relaxation, and discovering the territory.

The heart of the event will be the historic march on Sunday, 3rd May, but the journey begins earlier with two unmissable side events.

Weekend program: three days of emotions

The weekend opens under the sign of sharing and well-being with three distinct moments:

• Friday, 1st May – “Cammina con noi” (1st edition): The inaugural day is designed to unite the community and the season’s first tourists. It is a walk open to everyone to support the Lions Guide Dog Service of Limbiate.
  • Departure: 9:30 AM from the waterfront (Lungomare, Via del Sagittario area).

• Saturday, 2nd May – “Respira il Mare” (5th edition): An appointment that has become a tradition: a 12 km run along the Bibione seafront at sunset. A unique sensory experience between the beach and the pine forest, ideal for recharging your batteries.
  • Departure: 7:00 PM from the waterfront (Lungomare, Via del Sagittario area).

• Sunday, 3rd May – The 48th “A Piedi per Bibione” March: The grand international FIASP finale that crosses the entire territory, from the golden sands to the quiet of Val Grande.

The official start is scheduled from 8:30 AM (free starts: km-21 route, free start from 8:00 AM TO 9: AM / 7-11-14-km routes, free start from 8:00 to 10:30 AM) from Piazza Mercato, featuring a flag-waver performance. The event will take place under any weather conditions.

The 4 routes (suitable for all ages and abilities):

• 7 km: easy and flat (asphalt/porphyry), perfect for families with strollers
• 11 km: slightly more challenging, between the pine forest and the beach. A variant entirely on asphalt/dirt suitable for bicycles and strollers is available
• 14 km: an ideal option for nature lovers, along trails, woods, and lagoons
• 21 km: the route for more experienced hikers, along the coast and inland.

Refreshment points are available along the routes, plus a final refreshment stop for all participants; a participation fee is required to support the event. Prizes and promotional gifts are available for the largest groups; the awards ceremony will take place at 12:00 noon at the marquee in Piazza Mercato.
