And for the little ones: the guardian Lume is waiting for you to tell you the stories and secrets of the Bibione Lighthouse!

What we will find: images and voices of past times, memories of ordinary lantern care, family reunions, new loves born in the shadow of the lighthouse, wars and cannon shots. All thanks to precious autobiographical testimonies and photographs collected from 2019 to today, as part of a project born with the aim of protecting and preserving the memory of the Punta Tagliamento lighthouse and which was based on intense research and collection of unpublished autobiographical material, with oral testimonies and photographs. Furthermore, the archives of the Navy have returned important historical documents and drawings, which have allowed to reconstruct the events and architectural changes of our stone guardian over time.

Once the exhibition is over, the project will continue its path becoming the first memory archive of the Punta Tagliamento lighthouse, with the publication on the website of a collection of photographs and stories entitled “My best memory at the lighthouse”.
