X-RIVER 2023

The X RIVER service, the bicycle-boat that links Bibione and Lignano Sabbiadoro, starts again on 8th April 2023 with the following timetable:

• From 8th to 30th April 2023
  • Only on Saturdays and holidays
  • All day from 9 am to 7 pm every 35/40 minutes
    • First departure from Lignano at 9 am
    • Last departure from Lignano at 7 pm
    • First departure from Bibione at 9:20 am
    • Last departure from Bibione at 7:20 pm
• From 1st May to 10th September 2023
  • Daily
  • All day from 9 am to 7 pm every 35/40 minutes
    • First departure from Lignano at 9 am
    • Last departure from Lignano at 7 pm
    • First departure from Bibione at 9:20 am
    • Last departure from Bibione at 7:20 pm
• From 11th September to 1st October 2023
  • Daily
  • All day from 9 am to 6:30 pm every 35/40 minutes

• From 2nd to 28th October 2023
  • Only on Saturdays and holidays
  • All day from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm every 35/40 minutes

    • Fist departure from Bibione at 9:20 am
    • Last departure from Bibione at 5:50 pm
• From 28th October to 1st November 2023
  • Only on Saturdays and holidays
  • All day from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm every 35/40 minutes
    • First departure from Lignano at 9:00 am
    • Last departure from Lignano at 4:30 pm
    • Fist departure from Bibione at 9:20 am
    • Last departure from Bibione at 4:50 pm

With temporary suspension in case of bad weather.

Thanks to the agreements with SAF Bus Society, a boat with a maximum capacity of 25 users per trip will be operational, with this number of people and bicycles that can be transported on board. The boarding in Bibione is located a few steps from the lighthouse, while in Lignano it is at the Darsena Marina Uno in Riviera (pier).

The inauguration ceremony of the service for the 2023 season will be held on Saturday, 8th April 2023 at 9 am at the landing of Lignano Riviera (Via Punta Tagliamento).

This service can also be used by:

• Disabled people
• Baby buggies
• Animals (dogs must be kept on a leash)

On contrary, motorized vehicles are not allowed.

The price of the ticket remains unchanged compared last years, and is Euro 1.00 per person per way including bicycle; children under the age of 10 are free when accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets can be bought here:
