While waiting for Christmas and to celebrate the upcoming holidays together, there will be a whole series of initiatives and events throughout the Municipality of San Michele al Tagliamento-Bibione. Here is the complete calendar:
DECEMBER
Sunday, the 4th:
- Parish of S. Maria Assunta – Bibione: Christmas cinema for children:
- 2 pm “Il figlio di Babbo Natale”
- 4 pm “Qualcuno salvi il Natale 1”
- Parish Church of S. Michele Arcangelo – San Michele al Tagliamento, 8:30 pm
- Concert of the Choir “Tomat” from Spilimbergo (PN) and of the Choir “San Marco” from Pordenone – free entry.
Thursday, the 8th: Parish Church of S. Maria Assunta – Bibione: Festa dell’Immacolata (feast of the Immaculate Conception)
- 2:30 pm – Christmas team treasure hunt 6-99 years old (free registration: +39 339 3312022 / +39 348 5248957)
- 4:30 pm – biciluminarie competition: Christmas-themed bicycle light decoration contest; following: luminous parade through the streets of Bibione (info: Bikeezy, +39 348 0882929)
- 6 pm – Holy Mass
- 7 pm – tree lighting and concert by the Getawaves band
Throughout the day there will be hot sandwiches, mulled wine and homemade cakes

- Natale in Musica – concert of the “The Colours of Gospel” / free entry
Saturday, the 10th: Savoy Beach Hotel &Thermal Spa – Bibione, 8:30 pm
- 4th Christmas concert organized by the Lions Club SMT-Bibione with the Philharmonic Youth Orchestra of Friuli and the “Sant’Antonio Abate” Polyphonic Choir of Cordenons (PN). Conducts Maestro Walter Themel – free entry.

- Diamo luce ai tre gelsi – Christmas readings for the little ones, with chocolate and biscuits for everyone
Friday, the 16th: Piazza Libertà – San Michele al Tagliamento, 8 pm
- AAA Babbo Natale cerca la Befana – Christmas treasure hunt / 6th edition
Saturday, the 17th:
- Municipal library – San Michele al Tagliamento, 10 am and 2 pm
- Storie attorno all’albero – readings for children 3-5 years old (info and reservations: +39 0431 516100 / biblioteca@comunesanmichele.it)
- Churchyard – Villanova della Cartera, from 2 pm
- Santa’s little train brings sweet candies to children. Departure from Villanova, stops in San Giorgio al Tagliamento, San Michele al Tagliamento, San Filippo, Cesarolo and Bibione
- Piazza Libertà – San Michele al Tagliamento
- 2 pm – Natale tutto nostro: workshops, ballerina dance, face painting, animations, music, bicycles, skateboards and carriage rides
- 3 pm – La regina dei ghiacci: in the large bouncy castle, the children will experience an exciting story
- 8 pm – concert of the “Exes” band
- City Hall – San Michele al Tagliamento, 5 pm

- Piazza Libertà, 8:30 am – 2nd Santa Claus walk: walk for adults and children, departure at 10:00. On-site registration (Euro 10 adults, Euro 5 children up to 10 years, including Santa Claus hat and pasta on arrival)
- Piazza Libertà/Piazza Galasso, 9:30 am – Christmas market
- Streets of the centre, 2 pm – Traveling Christmas: traveling shows with street artists, magic and juggling shows with fire performances
- Churchyard, 4 pm – the most beautiful choir in the world: the “Cuoriste” and the “Incanto” choir present the “most beautiful choir in the world” with the children of the “Il Gabbiano-il Pino” cooperative of Fratta di Fossalta
- Streets of the centre, 5:30 pm – Traveling Christmas concert by the Banda Musicale Vadese
- Parish of S. Maria Assunta – Bibione: Christmas biscuit workshop for children aged 3 to 11 at the oratory, organized by LuMe (info and reservations: +39 348 2661291)
Tuesday, the 20th: Parish Church of Cesarolo, 8:30 pm
- Natale in Musica – concert by the clarinet quartet “Aire Clarinet Quartet” / free entry
Saturday, the 24th:
- Churchyard – San Michele al Tagliamento, 5:30 pm
- The night of the cribs – final event: living crib animated by the “Harmony Gospel Singers” choir and decoration of the great comet star with the stars collected by the children
- Parish of S. Maria Assunta – Bibione:
- 6 pm – Holy Mass and arrival of the Holy Family, who will bring small gifts for the children
- 11 pm – Holy Mass and mulled wine offered by Avis/Aido Bibione.
JANUARY
Thursday, the 5th:
- Parish of S. Maria Assunta – Bibione:
- Holy Mass
- following, foghera and take-away barbecue organized by Avis/Aido Bibione
- San Michele al Tagliamento, 6 pm
- Lighting of the foghera, with the arrival of the Befana who will distribute sweets to all the children
Friday, the 6th: Parish of S. Maria Assunta – Bibione:
- 11 am – Holy Mass and arrival of the Magi
- following, prize giving of cribs.
The events are organized by Pro Loco Bibione, Parish of Santa Maria Assunta and Avis Aido Bibione, with the patronage of the Municipality of San Michele al Tagliamento and in collaboration with LuMe, Lions Club Bibione-San Michele al Tagliamento, Parents Group, Polisportiva Bibione and Senior Citizens Centre Bibione.
