On 28th August 2025, Bibione’s Municipal Stadium will transform into a sparkling arena for the Bibione XC By Night, a thrilling mountain bike competition that will bring the adrenaline of two wheels under the summer sky.

Cycling enthusiasts and lovers of unusual challenges, mark your calendars! On Thursday, 28th August 2025, Bibione will host its highly anticipated Bibione XC By Night, an event that promises to combine a passion for mountain biking with the unique charm of night racing in the heart of the seaside resort. This is not just a race, but a sensory experience where cyclists of all ages and categories will illuminate the track with their lights, creating a breathtaking spectacle.

The green area adjacent to Bibione’s Municipal Stadium will be the pulsating heart of this event, an ideal location due to its central position, its distance from city traffic, and its immersion in nature. The race will take place on an urban circuit of approximately 1.5 km, to be repeated multiple times during the event.

A Race for Everyone: From Youngsters to Masters

The beauty of this event lies in its inclusivity. The Bibione XC By Night is open to all categories, from the youngest participants (G0-G6) who are new to cycling, to the most experienced Masters (M1-M8), including Esordienti, Allievi, Junior, and Open categories. This means the evening will be a true cycling festival, where different generations of athletes will compete in an atmosphere of healthy competition and fun. The goal is to attract cyclists as well as tourists and enthusiasts, with particular attention to youth categories, which represent the future of this sport.

The circuit, while technical, is designed to be tackled with grit and passion, offering each category the opportunity to express their skills to the fullest. The dynamic nature of the race, with continuous overtakes and changes in pace, will keep spectators on the edge of their seats until the very last metre.

The event will begin in the afternoon with the Baby Bibione by Night, a race reserved for children aged 6 to 12, followed by competitions for youth categories, which will take place from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The main race, reserved for adults, will run from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and will be divided into 3 heats, each lasting approximately 50 minutes.

The Bibione XC By Night is much more than a single race. It’s a real spectacle for the entire town. The Municipal Stadium area will come alive with music, cheering, and the contagious energy of the participants. Families, friends, and enthusiasts can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, encourage their favourites, and admire the luminous trail of bicycles speeding through the darkness.

The event also offers a unique opportunity to experience Bibione in a different light, discovering its more sporty and adventurous side even after sunset.

Safety and Assistance

Event safety will be guaranteed by the Race Directors and security personnel. Medical assistance and on-track support will also be provided throughout the event, with particular attention to the safety of athletes in all categories.
