Bibione Sand Storm 2026

Motorsport and adrenaline enthusiasts can mark their calendars: from Friday, 23rd October to Sunday, 25th October 2026, the famous Adriatic beach will roar once again with the new edition of the Bibione Sand Storm.

A unique event of sand, sea, and speed

The Bibione Sand Storm is not just a race, but a true celebration of sand motorsports. The track, carved entirely along the beach, will test the skill, endurance, and technique of participants in one of the most picturesque natural settings in Veneto.

The competing categories will offer high-octane spectacle across the board:

• Motocross & enduro: Thrilling action on soft sand, where every turn demands flawless throttle control and exceptional physical endurance.
• Quads: Four-wheeled powerhouses ready to deliver breathtaking drifts and exciting head-to-head battles.

Event schedule (23rd-25th October 2026)

The weekend promises to be packed with events for athletes and spectators:

Friday, 23rd October

• 09:00-11:00: Baby Run reserved for kindergarten children of the Municipality of San Michele al Tagliamento.
• 09:00-17:00: Technical checks for bikes and riders (the perfect opportunity to stroll through the paddock and view the race machines up close).
• 12:00: Opening of the event village, commercial area, and street food vendors.

Saturday, 24th October
Free practice and qualifying sessions to study the trajectories on the sandy surface, followed by the first official heats that will ignite the competition:

• 10:00: Ribbon cutting / Official opening
• 10:30-12:00: Race 1-Motorcycles
• 12:30-13:00: Freestyle Show & Mototherapy with Vanni Oddera
• 14:30-15:30: Race 1-Quads
• 16:00-16:30: Freestyle Show & Mototherapy with Vanni Oddera
• 17:00: Tethered hot air balloon flights
• 18:30-19:45: Night Race Qualifying
• 20:00-22:30: Night Race
• 22:30: Live Concert

Sunday, 25th October
The highlight of the event with the decisive races, the category finals, and the grand awards ceremony:

• 10:00-11:00: Race 2-Quads
• 11:30: Tethered hot air balloon flights
• 12:00-13:00: Freestyle Show with Vanni Oddera
• 13:30-15:00: Race 2-Motorcycles
• 15:30-16:00: Freestyle Show with Vanni Oddera
• 17:00: Official Award Ceremony

What’s new & highlights for 2026

The strengths of Bibione Sand Storm have been reconfirmed to enrich the experience of all participants, with some new features:

• Food & commercial area: A curated selection of food trucks and food stalls active throughout the entire event, along with vendors selling technical equipment, rider apparel, and local crafts.
• Breathtaking panoramic views: In addition to the ferris wheel and panoramic helicopter flights, the 2026 edition introduces tethered hot air balloon flights, which are accessible to people with disabilities, offering a stunning view of the coast from above.
• Social commitment & inclusivity: The event guarantees dedicated, safe, and accessible viewing areas for people with disabilities. The Mototherapy with Vanni Oddera also returns, giving youth with disabilities the opportunity to jump on a motorcycle and experience the thrill in complete safety.
• Massimo Zamparo Trophy: A special award presented to the rider who travels the longest distance to reach our starting gate.
