One of the most anticipated sports events of early autumn returns to Bibione: on Saturday, 26th September 2026, the 12th edition of the Bibione is Surprising Run takes centre stage. This captivating road race draws hundreds of runners, sports enthusiasts, and families every year for an exciting weekend of sport and fun.
Organized by A.S.D. Running Team Conegliano in collaboration with Palextra Events and under the patronage of the Municipality of San Michele al Tagliamento, this event will once again turn our resort into a vibrant celebration of athletics.
A unique 10-mile route
The race follows the classic, scenic 10-mile distance (approx. 16.09 km). The flat, breathtaking route guides participants through Bibione’s iconic sights: from the charm of the town centre to the refreshing sea breeze along the seafront promenade, passing through the unspoiled nature of the pine forest.
Two race options are available so everyone can enjoy the experience to the fullest:
- 10-Mile FIDAL competitive race: for registered athletes looking for performance and timing.
- 10-Mile non-competitive race: open to all runners and fitness enthusiasts who want to run at their own pace while enjoying the landscape.
Event schedule – Saturday, 26th September
The main meeting place and beating heart of the event will be Piazza Fontana:
- 2:30 PM: Athletes’ assembly and check-in at Piazza Fontana
- 4:30 PM: Official start of the BibioneRun 10-Mile Competitive Race
- 4:35 PM: Start of the BibioneRun 10-Mile NON-COMPETITIVE Race (Time limit for both races: 2 hours and 15 minutes)

Double the fun: Corsa delle Rose on Sunday, 27th September
The running weekend doesn’t end on Saturday! On Sunday, 27th September, the event continues with the Corsa delle Rose (Race of the Roses), a scenic non-competitive run/walk dedicated to wellness, sharing, and solidarity. It’s the perfect opportunity to extend your stay and enjoy another great morning of outdoor movement right by the sea.
