Food lovers, get your forks ready! On the weekends of 10-12 and 17-19 May 2024, Bibione is preparing to host an unmissable gastronomic event: Bianco Weekend. Six days dedicated to taste, tradition and the excellence of the territory, in an atmosphere of celebration and conviviality that will animate the beating heart of Bibione, from Viale Aurora to Piazza Treviso.

The undisputed protagonist of this event will be the white asparagus of Bibione, a prized product that boasts a long tradition and an unmistakable flavour, and the sea buckthorn, a native plant of the valleys of the Tagliamento and Piave rivers. The best chefs in the Veneto region will try their hand at creating innovative and refined dishes, enhancing the qualities of this spring vegetable and pairing it with fine wines, with the possibility of enjoying cocktails based on sea buckthorn.

Show cooking, tastings, educational workshops, cocktail shows and talk shows, areas dedicated to typical products await you for a 360-degree sensorial experience. You will be able to discover the secrets of growing white asparagus, savour traditional Venetian dishes revisited in a modern key and purchase typical local products directly from the exhibitors.

    • 11:00 – “Expressed” territoriality. Coffee & Sea Buckthorn. Extraction principles and techniques
    • 15:00 – Sea Buckthorn, Originality & Companies: a perfect cocktail. PARAGON: Access to the unexplored aromas of nature through the search for rare raw materials
    • 17:00 – Ready-to-drink shades of sea buckthorn: how to prepare pre-batches for home parties or facilitate service at the bar
    • 19:00 – Emotional food pairing. Different cultures united by Sea Buckthorn. Come and discover the secrets of mixing.

Participation in the event is free. Entry to the cooking shows is free, subject to availability (booking is recommended).
