AeQuilibrium Beach Volley Marathon® 05-2026

The Veneto beach is ready to once again transform into the world capital of beach volleyball: one of the most anticipated sporting events of the year, the AeQuilibrium Beach Volley Marathon®, returns to Bibione. As per tradition, the largest and most attended open beach volleyball event in the world will once again thrill thousands of athletes and enthusiasts with its famous double event, confirmed for May and September 2026.

This extraordinary event, which regularly brings together over 20,000 people from every corner of the globe, is more than just a tournament, but a true celebration of sport, fun, and the passion for sand volleyball.

Two editions, one great love

The winning formula that has made Bibione an international hub will be repeated in 2026, offering two unmissable weekends:

• 15-16-17 May: the traditional spring event that kicks off the summer season. An intense weekend where thousands of teams compete on hundreds of courts set up on the beach in front of the Villaggio Turistico Internazionale.
• 18-19-20 September: the event that, together with Bibione Beach Fitness®, closes out the summer in style. With a unique atmosphere, this edition combines sporting competition with the desire to enjoy the last remnants of the summer, culminating in huge parties on the beach.

What to expect from the event

Participating in the Beach Volley Marathon® means enjoying a 360-degree experience. It’s not just about playing: the organization, curated by SportFelix, guarantees a rich program that blends competition and entertainment.

The event format remains unchanged: hundreds of courts set up on the beach in front of the Villaggio Turistico Internazionale, ready to host thousands of matches in various categories (2×2 Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed, 3×3 Men’s and Women’s, and 4×4 Mixed), creating a spectacular spectacle and an electrifying atmosphere.

There will also be a stand area, with spaces dedicated to the event’s technical sponsors and partners.

Beyond the competitive spirit, the Beach Volley Marathon® is also famous for what happens off the court, synonymous with celebration: participants will enjoy music, DJ sets, the unmissable evening parties on the beach that make Bibione’s atmosphere unique on these occasions, the traditional “Notte Bianca” (White Night), with the city centre’s bars staying open until late, and, for the May edition, the welcome party on Thursday from 10 pm to midnight.

An event for everyone

One of the secrets to the Beach Volley Marathon®’s success is its inclusiveness. Whether you’re a world champion or a beginner, there’s room for everyone. The event celebrates team spirit, friendship, and the desire to be together. As per tradition, the May edition will also host an important stage of the International Beach ParaVolley Championship (sitting and standing), confirming the event’s commitment to sporting inclusiveness: players with mobility disabilities will compete in the 3×3 M/F.
