A cherished fixture of the Bibione summer, the “Mercatino delle Pulci” (Flea Market) by the Lions Club San Michele al Tagliamento-Bibione once again offers a wonderful opportunity to do good, supporting local projects and discovering little treasures in the vibrant heart of Bibione.
Bibione isn’t just about sun, sea, and fun; it’s also about solidarity and social commitment. From 17th to 20th July 2025, the Lions Club San Michele al Tagliamento-Bibione invites residents and tourists alike to join their traditional “Mercatino delle Pulci” (Flea Market) in Piazza Treviso. This event, which blends the convivial spirit of summer with the noble cause of supporting those in need, will be open daily from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm.
For four days, Piazza Treviso, one of Bibione’s liveliest and most central squares, will buzz with stalls brimming with curious objects, local crafts, books, selected second-hand clothing, and many small surprises. Every purchase won’t just be a simple transaction, but an act of generosity, as all proceeds will be donated to local solidarity projects, directly supporting the community within the area.
A Concrete Commitment to the Community
The Lions Club San Michele al Tagliamento-Bibione has been actively involved in the local area for years, standing out for its continuous dedication to the local community. Funds raised through initiatives like the “Mercatino delle Pulci” are used to finance vital projects, ranging from supporting people with visual impairments (one of Lions International’s historical missions) to promoting health, helping families in difficulty, and safeguarding the environment. This year, the focus will be even more concentrated on the specific needs of our local territory.
