On 14th July at the Parish Church Santa Maria Assunta in Bibione in via Antares 20 at 9.15 pm there will be the concert of The Loboc Children’s Choir from Loboc-Bohol (Philippines).

The children’s choir of Loboc is composed of about thirty elements between 9 and 13 years old attending the central Elementary School of Loboc, city on the homonymous river in the province of Bohol. Founded in 1980 to give color to the events of the school and the community, it soon became one of the most important choirs of the Philippines of the world music scene in their category. In 2001 it became the national champion in the category of children’s choirs at the National Music Competition for Young Artists, the most important musical competition on the island.

Since its foundation, the group has seen several generations of children grow, who have become its conductors; there are many worldwide experiences, including

  • Australia
  • China
  • Hong Kong
  • United States
  • Italy.

Their repertoire ranges from different musical genres, for example:

  • Classic
  • Religious
  • Traditional
  • Contemporary Music

We therefore expect a live concert in which to appreciate the skill of these children and their teachers, to start greatly the weekend in Bibione.
