It is scheduled for the 19th May the inauguration of X RIVER, the boat link that will connect Bibione and Lignano Sabbiadoro:
- 10 am at the dock of Bibione, 500 meters upstream of the Lighthouse (via del Faro)
- 11 am at the dock of the Tourist Port Marina Uno in Lignano Riviera.
It is a ferry to carry about ten people with their bicycles, which will allow them to cross directly the River Tagliamento and go from one beach to the other.
This is the timetable of the service, from May to September:
- Morning from 9 am to 1 pm
- Afternoon from 3 to 6 pm.
It is completely free and will be temporarily suspended in case of bad weather.
Thanks to it, two important paths will be joined:
- The href=”https://www.bibione.eu/en/bike-tours/adriatic-shoreline-trip/”>“Passeggiata Adriatico” (Adriatic shoreline trip), 9 km biking/walking trail in Bibione
- the cycling path of Lignano Sabbiadoro, 8 km long.
They are in turn connected with the other inland itineraries.
