“Soldier’s life”: this is the title of the Exhibition on the Great War scheduled in Bibione from 15th July to 26th August 2018 on occasion of the centenary of the conflict’s end.

It is an exhibition of uniforms, weapons, vehicles and historical objects related to the First World War (1914-1918), visitable:

  • Every day
  • From 7 pm to 22.30 pm

At the School Complex “A. Gabelli” – Via Maja 80.

The event is organized by the Cultural Musical Association “San Paolino di Aquileia” and by the Association “Una Famea dal Timent” with the patronage and contribution of the Municipality of San Michele al Tagliamento-Bibione and with the collaboration of the Committee “Terza Armata” from Cervignano del Friuli (Ud), of the Gruppo Alpini di Morsano al Tagliamento (Pn) and of the Association “Per la Storia di Pianiga” (Ve).

The inauguration will be held on Sunday, 15th July at 7 pm.

In addition, the “Historical Group San Paolino” will perform in a series of concerts related to the exhibition on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, 18th July
  • Monday, 30th July
  • Sunday, 5th August
  • Thursday, 16th August
  • Monday, 20th August.

All the concerts will be held in Piazza Fontana at 9 pm.

But that’s not all! There will be also two parades of historical vehicles on:

  • Sunday 22nd July
  • Sunday, 26th August.

Departure is planned from the square outside the thermal baths at 8 pm to reach then Piazzale Zenith.

A long summer opportunity to see live hundreds of historical finds and reflect, even on holiday, what has meant for the whole world, but also for us in our little „world”, the First World War.
