Exhibitions are continuing at Villa Manin in Passariano di Codroipo (UD): from 1st December 2018 to 6th January 2019 it will be possible to visit, in the Levante Exedra, a Cribs exhibition entitled „Presepi in Villa”.
Proposed for the tenth consecutive year by the UNPLI Regional Committee of Friuli Venezia Giulia (National Union of Italian Pro Loco), the exhibition of nativity scenes will be visitable according to the following timetable:
- From Tuesday to Friday
- From 10 am to 1 pm
- From 2 to 6 pm
- Saturday, Sunday and public holidays
- From 10 am to 6 pm
- 24th and 31st December
- From 10 am to 4 pm
- 1st January
- From 2 to 6 pm
- Closed on 25th December.
Entrance is free.
People will be able to admire a hundred handicraft works from all over Friuli Venezia Giulia and also from outside the region. Guided tours will be possible in Italian and German language for groups from 15 to 25 people during the opening hours of the exhibition (reservation is compulsory).

The exhibition of Villa Manin is part of a much bigger review entitled “Presepi FVG – La tradizione che prende forma” (The tradition that takes shape), a regional trip in one of the most precious Italian traditions. It is a path to discover more than 4000 nativities made by hand in the most varied materials and in different dimensions, all united by the wisdom and passion of those who created them. Thousands of productions throughout the territory of the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia, from those monumental to those who are inside a bottle, from those in the churches to those placed in natural contexts of great environmental value. The works are scattered in 181 between municipal capitals, fractions and localities divided into 12 geographic areas.
