It’s now in its fift edition the National organ competition “Rino Benedet” organized by the Parish of Santa Maria Assunta in Bibione in collaboration with the Diocese of Concordia-Pordenone.
Aim of the competition is to allot grants and prizes to students enrolled in Italian conservatories or already graduated in organ (after January 1, 2014) – regardless of their age – who will perform, divided into two categories, the organ „Francesco Zanin” (2013) at the Parish Church in via Antares 18 in Bibione from 2nd to 4th June 2017.
The concert with the finalists of the contest will be held on:
- Sunday, 4th June, on occasion of Pentecost, at 8.30m.
The competition jury will be chaired by Maestro Ludger Lohmann, Professor of organ at the Conservatory in Stuttgart, assisted by Maestri Ruggero Livieri, Roberto Canali, Beppino delle Vedove and Michele Bravin.
The Grand Prize winner will be invited to give a concert in the Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Bibione for the 2018 concert season.
