Also in 2017 the white asparagus will be the absolute protagonist of the Festa dell’Asparago e dello Sport (Asparagus and Sports Festival), with kiosks, shows and entertainment that will wait for us in the spring of Bibione.
On Market Square, a tent will be set up where you can taste many recipes in which the main ingredient is definitely it: the white asparagus, typical of Bibione and of the territory of San Michele al Tagliamento thanks to the mild climate, the sandy soil and to the saltiness that gives it an intense and particular taste.
The opening hours of the food stands are as follows:
- 21-22-24 April opening at 6 pm;
- 25 April opening at 12 o’ clock.
To accompany the tasting there will be shows and live music, and you can buy locally grown products directly from local producers.
New 2018: Bibione Spring Bike, route of about 24 km by bike, not competitive on several laps, scheduled for Sunday, 22nd April at 10 a.m.. Departure and arrival are on Piazza Mercato (market square). For more info: Gruppo Marciatori Bibione.
