Are you ready to play beach volleyball again in Bibione? Also in 2023, the AeQuilibrium Beach Volley Marathon®, the largest open beach volleyball tournament in the world, will be staged on our beach, in the now usual double appointment:
- from 12th to 14th May
- from 15th to 17th September.
What it is: it is the most important sporting meeting of the specialty at an international level, an event that never stops growing and attracts more and more fans, from great champions to amateurs, from all over Europe, but also from the Americas, Australia, China and Japan.
For the new 2023 edition up to 300 playgrounds will be set up on the beach in front of the Villaggio Turistico Internazionale, covering an area of 120,000 square meters of beach.
As usual, teams of each level can participate to the Beach Volley Marathon® and they will be divided into the following playing categories:
- 2×2 men, women and mixed,
- 3×3 men and women,
- 4×4 mixed (i.e. two men and two women).
Also reconfirmed for 2023, in the May appointment, the only Italian stage of the International Beach ParaVolley Championship (Sitting and Standing), a candidate discipline for the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games, where athletes of different abilities will compete.
At the Sponsor Village there will be not only the playing fields but also exhibition stands, areas to enjoy the sports and musical activities, equipped areas for the pressroom and the mobile television direction and various gastronomic kiosks available to participants for the duration of the event.
Furthermore, do not miss the large evening parties reserved for adult participants of the sporting event, registered as “Athletes” or as “non-Athletes”:
- On Thursday, from 22:00 to 24:00 / the welcome party with live music to sing and dance in one of the coolest locations in Bibione – only for the May appointment!
- Friday and Saturday
- From 19:00 to 23:00 beach party, completely plastic free
- From 24:00 to 04:00 disco at Shany Discobeach.

- first deadline 6th April
- closing date 20th April
- for September’s appointment
- registration opens on 31st May
- first deadline 17th August
- closing date will be the 24th August.
