This summer will be a little\ndifferent than the previous ones: because of the Coronavirus we will have to\nadapt to new rules, acquire different habits, pay a little more attention to\nhygiene, but <strong>nothing prevents us from spending a nice holiday in the company\nof the family or friends<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The city of\nBibione, its hotels and its bathing establishments are gearing up to allow\nresidents and tourists to spend a peaceful and unforgettable summer, even in\nthis particular period, and <strong>in compliance with all applicable hygiene and\nhealth standards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you ask yourself: may I have dinner at the restaurant? And swim in the sea? What will people have to do to enter the beach? And will the children be able to go and play in the park? Keep reading the article to find out <strong>what can be done in Bibione this summer 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>When do the beach of Bibione\nopen?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The beach of Bibione is among the largest in the whole Adriatic coast. You can therefore take advantage of a <strong>space around your umbrella of at least 16 square meters<\/strong>, which will ensure the correct social distancing and the amplitude necessary to be able to move in total freedom. The beach will be accessible already <strong>from 30th May, with only heliotherapeutic purposes<\/strong>. From 6th June, the rescue service will be activated. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibione.eu\/en\/discover-bibione\/the-beach-of-bibione\/plutos-beach\/\">Pluto\u2019s beach<\/a> will also reopen from 30th May, equipped to host our four-legged friends: it will be possible to book the sun umbrella directly from the website, requesting additional services in case the dog needs special care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Is the free beach open?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The free beach is <strong>still closed<\/strong>, awaiting new provisions from the Municipality of San Michele al Tagliamento-Bibione to be able to reopen it in complete safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What will you have to do to enter the beach?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Access to\nthe beach will not be so different from previous years. Some bathing\nestablishments may require a <strong>prior reservation<\/strong>, to regulate and limit\nthe flow of bathers. The common areas, such as bars, bathrooms and showers, will be open and usable but will be <strong>rearranged to avoid gatherings<\/strong>, as well as being frequently cleaned and sanitized. Regular cleaning and sanitizing of the equipment (especially deck chairs and beds) will also be ensured at each change of person and at the end of the day. It will also be possible to <strong>bathe<\/strong> in the sea freely, while maintaining the right safety distances, and stop on the shore to assist children who are in the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Can we go to the thermal centre?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibione.eu\/en\/holidays-for-relaxation\/thermal-centre-bibione\/\">Bibione thermal centre<\/a> will <strong>reopen to the public on 1st\nJune<\/strong>, while the therapeutic treatments will resume <strong>only from Sunday, the\n7th<\/strong>. It will be possible to access the establishment in compliance with the\nhygiene rules established by the authorities and after an admission visit that\ncan be booked at this number: +39 0431 441111. Specific signs will be\nintroduced to manage flows in closed environments and appointments will be\nscheduled so that more people do not meet in confined spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dispensers with <strong>hydroalcoholic solutions for hand hygiene<\/strong> will be installed and the entrances and exits of the guests of the plant will be monitored to avoid overcrowding in the common areas. Access to the wellness area, which includes the Spa, swimming pools and beauty treatments, will be regulated by the guidelines provided for these production activities. To know the opening hours or to book treatment sessions, just consult the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bibioneterme.it\/eng\/\">Bibione-Thermae website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What sports can be practiced in Bibione?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All team sports are prohibited, both at a competitive and amateur level, but <strong>individual sports<\/strong> can be practiced safely: it is possible to book a <strong>windsurfing<\/strong> course, jog on the seafront or rent a bike to explore the natural landscape of Bibione. <strong>Bike rental<\/strong> is also available at the various hotels in the city, which offer <strong>solutions for the whole family<\/strong>: from children\u2019s bicycles to bikes with child seats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bibione.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/bici_bibione1-2-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"What can be done in Bibione at the time of Covid-19? Even going to the gym will require some extra precautions, such as disinfecting the tools after using them, changing before entering the training rooms, keeping the minimum distance from others, not sharing water-bottles and avoiding using machines that have not been sanitized before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Are Bibione\u2019s restaurants open?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bibione\u2019s restaurants, bars and caf\u00e9s are also slowly reopening after <strong>adapting themselves to the new sanitation standards<\/strong>. The tables will be arranged so as to guarantee the distance of at least one metre between the customers and the staff will have to wear masks. It will be mandatory to sanitize your hands as soon as you enter the room, and wear the mask whenever you are not sitting at the table. Tables and chairs will be sanitized from time to time, \u201cdisposable\u201d menus will be used and outdoor tables will be privileged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Which events will there be this summer?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>calendar<\/strong>\nof events organized by the Municipality of San Michele al Tagliamento-Bibione\nhas undergone a profound change. The Mizuno Beach Volley Marathon, the\nSeptemberfest Bibione and the concerts have unfortunately been suspended.\nInstead, it will be possible to visit the lighthouse, access the Fun Fair and\nthe X-River that connects the city with Lignano Sabbiadoro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Until the 28th June, however, the <strong>Cavallini Sgarbi Collection<\/strong> can be visited <strong>in Portogruaro<\/strong>: a collection of works of inestimable artistic value enclosed in the splendid setting of the Bishop\u2019s Palace. The <strong>Cortino del Castello di Fratta<\/strong>, in <strong>Fossalta di Portogruaro<\/strong>, home of the Literary Museum of Ippolito Nievo and of the beautiful garden of Mars and Flora, which is in bloom in June, will also be open to the public. As regards <strong>religious tourism<\/strong>, however, two international events are planned: the display of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.parrocchia-bibione.org\/\">relics of Padre Pio and of San Giovanni Paolo II<\/a><\/strong> respectively from 26th June to 6th July and from 16th July to 16th August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite the\nrestrictions and difficulties dictated by Covid-19, <strong>the locality of Bibione\nis open<\/strong> to welcome anyone who wants to warm up under its sun, take a bath\nin its sea, stroll through its streets and enjoy its natural landscape, and try\nto do it in the best possible way, ensuring vacationers the maximum fun,\nrelaxation and normalcy. The city has introduced a few more rules to protect\nyour health, but its <strong>warm hospitality<\/strong> and <strong>suggestive landscapes<\/strong>\nwill always remain the same.<\/p>\n<a class=\"simplefavorite-button\" data-postid=\"34430\" data-siteid=\"1\" data-groupid=\"1\" data-favoritecount=\"0\" style=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bibione.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/favorite.svg\"><\/a>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What can be done in Bibione at the time of Covid-19?
