{"id":5798,"date":"2023-08-08T16:27:16","date_gmt":"2023-08-08T14:27:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bibione.eu\/eventi\/il-presepe-di-sabbia-di-lignano-sabbiadoro-2022\/"},"modified":"2023-12-20T12:30:38","modified_gmt":"2023-12-20T11:30:38","slug":"the-sand-nativity-in-lignano-sabbiadoro-2022","status":"publish","type":"eventi","link":"https:\/\/www.bibione.eu\/en\/events\/the-sand-nativity-in-lignano-sabbiadoro-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"The Sand Nativity in Lignano Sabbiadoro 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Thursday,&nbsp;<strong>8th December<\/strong>&nbsp;the traditional&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.presepelignano.it\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\">Sand Nativity<\/a>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Lignano Sabbiadoro<\/strong>&nbsp;comes back: exhibition of&nbsp;<strong>sand sculptures<\/strong>&nbsp;just a&nbsp;<strong>few minutes from Bibione<\/strong>, which in 2022 reaches its&nbsp;<strong>19th edition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>New<\/strong>&nbsp;this year is the&nbsp;<strong>new location<\/strong>&nbsp;in front of the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/lignanosabbiadoro.it\/en\/facilities\/146-6-pinguino\/\" target=\"_blank\">Beach Office n. 6<\/a><strong>&nbsp;(Pinguino)<\/strong>&nbsp;in via&nbsp;<strong>Lungomare Trieste 7<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 in front of the San Giovanni Bosco Park \u2013 where it will in fact be possible,&nbsp;<strong>from 8th December 2022 to 5th February 2023<\/strong>, to see the works of various professionals in sand processing in an exhibition that every year welcomes&nbsp;<strong>thousands and thousands of visitors<\/strong>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<strong>all over Europe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Days<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>opening hours<\/strong>&nbsp;are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Full time from 10 am to 6 pm<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>December: from 8 to 11, from 17 to 24, from 26 to 31<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>January: from 1 to 8, on 15, 22 and 29<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>February: on 5.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Only afternoon from 2 to 6 pm<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>December: from 12 to 16, on 25<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>January: on 14, 21 and 28<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>February: on 4.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event, which&nbsp;<strong>entrance is with free donation<\/strong>, is organized by the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/presepelignano\/\" target=\"_blank\">Association Dome Aghe e Savalon d\u2019Aur<\/a>, in collaboration with&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ProLocoLignano\" target=\"_blank\">Pro Loco Lignano<\/a><strong>,&nbsp;<\/strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lignanoinfiore.it\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lignano in Fiore Onlus<\/a><strong>, Lignano Sabbiadoro Gestioni<\/strong>, with the support of the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lignano.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">City of Lignano Sabbiadoro<\/a>&nbsp;and the contribution \u2013 fundamental \u2013 of the local associations. It is inserted in the frame of the&nbsp;<strong>celebrations<\/strong>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<strong>\u201cNatale d\u2019A\u2026Mare\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;of the Friulian seaside resort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year there is no reservation needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;<strong>2022 edition<\/strong>&nbsp;takes its cue and is inspired by the Teodorian mosaics of the Basilica of Aquileia, and the theme is&nbsp;<strong>\u201cInfinity tiles: Stories and legends of early Aquileian Christianity\u201d<\/strong>. Two common threads: the&nbsp;<strong>sea<\/strong>&nbsp;(Lignano\u2019s main resource) and the \u201c<strong>colours of light<\/strong>\u201d (to recall the \u201ccolour of the mosaics\u201d and to symbolically allude to the \u201cspiritual light\u201d).
