The now characteristic non-competitive walk \u201cA Piedi per Bibione\u201d<\/strong> starts on Monday, 1st May 2023<\/strong>. It\u2019s a meeting dedicated to all those (individuals<\/strong>, groups<\/strong> and families<\/strong>) who, through various routes, want to rediscover the territory<\/strong> of our tourist resort. As Mother Teresa of Calcutta said, \u201cWhen you cannot walk fast, walk. \/ When you can\u2019t walk, use the stick. \/ But never hold back!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event reaches its 45th edition<\/strong> in 2023 and this year there is an air of novelty! In fact, the departure<\/strong> is scheduled from 8:30<\/strong> am<\/strong> (then, until 10 am free departure) from Piazzale Zenith<\/strong> \u2013 instead of from Piazza Mercato \u2013 in any weather condition, with routes of 6, 11, 14, 22 and 27 km<\/strong> with refreshment points<\/strong>; participation is upon payment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the same frame it will be possible on Saturday, 29th <\/strong>and Sunday, 30th April <\/strong>to explore the permanent paths<\/strong> of 6, 11, 16 and 24 km <\/strong>with refreshment points<\/strong> from 8 am<\/strong> to 5 pm<\/strong>; the first path of 6 km <\/strong>is entirely on asphalted terrain or porphyry<\/strong> and is suitable also for strollers<\/strong> and disabled<\/strong> people. An alternative route for 11 km<\/strong> has been equipped entirely on asphalt and dirt (with some small sandy stretches) also suitable for bicycles<\/strong> and prams<\/strong> with companions. The other routes<\/strong> wind along tree-lined roads, inside pine forests and private properties).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are prizes<\/strong> for the largest groups<\/strong> and promotional gifts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the sports days, some stands<\/strong> will be set up to advertise Bibione\u2019s asparagus<\/strong>, with an expert<\/strong> who will explain its history, cultivation, use in the kitchen and conservation in jars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
