\u201cA unique experience that we should all have once in a lifetime to get to know our territory. Running, walking or cycling, learning and having fun.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is the motto of the organizers of \u201cIn marcia CON il Tagliamento<\/strong>\u201d (=Marching WITH the Tagliamento), which will be held from 22nd to 25th April 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
What it is about: a 185 km route in 4 days<\/strong>, from the Mauria Pass<\/strong> to the Bibione Lighthouse<\/strong>, with fractions of 40\/50 km<\/strong>, to discover the river, its course, its history and the territory it crosses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year\u2019s route<\/strong> will be very suggestive, through the most unedited Friuli, on paths and forest tracks<\/strong> that run alongside this great river, so important both for Friuli and for \u201cour\u201d Bibione, defined as \u201cthe king of Alpine rivers<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is therefore not a simple race, but an emotional<\/strong> and engaging experience<\/strong> to discover ourselves too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here are the 4 stages<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

22nd April<\/strong> \/ Tagliamento Course: from Mauria Pass to Villa Santina<\/li>\n\n\n\n
23rd April<\/strong> \/ from Villa Santina to San Tomaso di Majano<\/li>\n\n\n\n
24th April<\/strong> \/ from San Tomaso to San Paolo di Morsano al Tagliamento<\/li>\n\n\n\n
25th April<\/strong> \/ Lignano Dunes Sand: from San Paolo to Bibione (Lighthouse)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
And these are the 3 options<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Run one or more stages of the walk<\/strong> (about 40\/60 km) at a slow pace (in any case, good training is required to tackle the more demanding sections of the route)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Naturalistic excursion with a specialized guide<\/strong>, to admire the flora and fauna of the Tagliamento and learn about the history of the river<\/li>\n\n\n\n
By bike or e-bike<\/strong>; the use of mountain bikes or gravel bikes is recommended because the route is off-road and also includes technical sections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
During the march, refreshment points<\/strong> and technical assistance<\/strong> are provided approximately every 20 km<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
