A symbol of the Habsburg monarchy, she lived between 1837 and 1898 and married Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria, and at the same time became Empress consort of Austria, Apostolic Queen of Hungary and Queen consort of Bohemia. Her figure inspired some films in the ’50.
