From 11th to 13th May 2018 the historic centre of Portogruaro will be again the stage of Terre dei Dogi in Festa, with tradition and innovation meeting in the 14th edition of this exposition of territorial food and wine excellences.

There will be, as usual, the stands to taste the AOC wines Lison Pramaggiore and the typical products of the Eastern Veneto; but the tastings are not only culinary: there will be also moments of culture, show and entertainment.

To enrich all this, there will be also markets and productions with characters, goods and games of that period; moreover, the third edition of the Organic Fair “Portogruaro-Bio” at the Parco della Pace by the Villa Comunale will have a bigger and best-structured place with the exposition of food, wine, handmade and building products.

“Terre dei Dogi in Festa” is a denomination that recalls the Venetian origins of Portogruaro but also the history of a territory that has always been populated by sharecroppers and farmers employed by big noble families who lived in the city and possessed vast estates in the countryside, cultivated in vineyards, maize, wheat and beets.

A reminder therefore to the origins and a rediscovery of the memory of the territory, with an eye for this year also to innovative contents, for a much appreciated event by the vast public that every year participates. Besides the presence of wineries and wine producers, it will continue as always the collaboration with several local restaurateurs and with dozens and dozens of exhibitors.
