In 2019, the festival of colours comes back again in Bibione: on Sunday, 25th August from 3:30 pm on the beach of Piazzale Zenith there will be one of the stages of Holi on Tour!
With 500.000 people in 6 years and almost 100.000 like on the official Facebook page, the most colourful event in Europe and famous throughout the world will enliven the beach of our seaside resort for the whole afternoon until the evening, to let us dance once more by the sea wrapped up by thousands colours!
The format remains unchanged: at the end of the countdown that the speakers / DJs rhythm from the stage (usually one every hour), coloured and perfumed powders (natural and non-toxic, 100% eco-friendly) are thrown into the air, to then dance and colour themselves all together.
The entrance is free, while bags of coloured powder will be on sale only within the festival at the stand with official merchandising placed inside the event area.
It takes inspiration from one of the oldest Hindu celebrations of the spring season. In India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Pakistan there are two days of festivities with singing, dancing and throwing of coloured powder through the streets of the city and the villages, with the lighting of a bonfire that states the victory of good over evil, the end of winter and the beginning of spring. It’s a day during which people can forget all the pain, forgive and all the social classes celebrate together.
