The month of August in Lignano Sabbiadoro, just a few steps from Bibione, will be full of music with the stages of the summer tours of:
- The Offspring – Friday, 4th August at 9.30 pm – Teghil Stadium
- Alvaro Soler – Friday, 11th August at 7 pm – Teghil Stadium
- Nek – Tuesday, 22nd August at 9.30 pm – Alpe Adria Arena
Maybe you could think of combining one of these concerts (or why not… all three!) with a weekend of sun and sea in our nearby seaside resort: the arena, as well as the stadium, are located just over 10 minutes by car from Bibione, and our hotels are ready to welcome you even in the late evening when you return! Find out how!
Let’s start on the first Friday of August with the punk rock songs by The Offspring, for the only concert in Northeast of the band coming from California. The event is one of the only three dates of the group’s Italian tour. Included in the calendar of the first edition of the Lignano Sunset Festival, i twill see the participation on the stage of two exceptional bands:
- the Millencolin, star of the Swedish skate punk genre
- the Rumatera, phenomena of punk rock in venetian
The opening of the gates at the Municipal Stadium G. Teghil in Viale Europa 142 is scheduled for 5 pm; there are still tickets available!
On Friday, 11th August it’s Alvaro Soler’s turn, again at the Municipal Stadium, starting from 7 pm, for one of the stages of his “Summer tour 2017”. This event is also included in the billboard of the Lignano Sunset Festival, and the evening will be opened by:
- Ermal Meta, Italian-Albanian singer and songwriter, revelation of the last Sanremo Festival
- Sara Ciutto, very young Friulian singer already known throughout the Northeast
The songs of the 26th-year-old Spanish are now real summer catchphrases able to drag the crowds of any age with their rhythm; but Alvaro Soler was able to amaze everyone even with his participation to XFactor Italia as a judge. The tickets for the concert are still available, take advantage of it!
On Tuesday, 22nd August at 9.30 pm the gates of the Alpe Adria Arena in Viale Europa 26 (next to the Town Hall of Lignano Sabbiadoro) will open instead for Nek, real name Filippo Neviani. The tour bears the name of his most recent musical work, Unici, which is having much success in Italy.
Accompanied by its historic band, it will make us hear not only the songs of his last album but also the great songs that made him famous. In fact, Nek is one of the most beloved artists by the Italian public and not, with over 10 million records sold throughout his career, countless concerts in both Italian and Spanish language and important collaborations with artists of national and international level.
Also for him, the tickets are still on sale, what are you waiting for?
